Yes! A piercing in your ears! Whether you are getting your first ear piercing, or coming for a second or third one, it may be a bit thrilling, but always fun! You are more than welcome at Pracht to get your ears pierced. This is possible from €24.95, depending on which earrings you choose.
Come and visit us and visit our Pracht basement, where a special place has been set up to pierce your ears in all tranquility. We will make sure you leave with a beautiful earparty!
In principle, we pierce ears every day of the week, when the crowds allow it. At Pracht, we pierce ears from the age of 12. Are you younger than 16? Then we only pierce in the presence of a parent/guardian.
Occasionally it can be too busy to pierce holes. If you want to be sure we have time, call us at 030-2300617.
OUR SYSTEM
Piercing creates a wound in the ear. Therefore, it is important to pierce with hypoallergenic material. We use special earrings from Inverness® for this purpose, where you can choose from real gold (14 karat) or surgical steel.
The Inverness® instrument is a “push-through” system and not a gun. As a result, the ear is pierced very precisely, quickly and silently.

Step 1
CHOOSE ONE OF THESE EARRINGS
When piercing, a wound is created in the ear. That is why it is important to shoot with a hypoallergenic material. We use special earrings from Inverness® for this, where you can choose between real gold (14 carat) or surgical steel.
You have to keep these earrings in for 6 weeks after piercing. So give your new piercing time to heal properly!
Step 2
DISINFECT AND MARK
Before we pierce, we disinfect your ears.
After this we mark where the earrings will go. This way you know for sure that the placement is right. Are you unsure about the placement? Let us know, we will of course always think along with you!
Step 3
PIERCING THE EAR
When the placement is approved, we will pierce the earrings. We do this one by one. It goes very quickly and is done in no time. It may burn for a moment, but that is normal and will go away quickly.

HEALING
After piercing, a wound has formed in the ear. It is therefore very important to take good care of it. Always wash your hands before touching the earrings or your ears. Clean the earrings twice a day. Spray the care product once on the front and back of the earring.
The Inverness® disinfectant bottle is a transparent, alcohol-free liquid. The active ingredient is benzalkonium chloride, which prevents the skin from drying out. When the ear is cleaned regularly, Inverness® guarantees maximum protection, allowing the wound to heal faster and preventing infections.
After washing the hair with shampoo, clean the ear with clean water and then clean it with the care product as described above. This also applies after sports or swimming.
Do not touch the earrings unnecessarily.
The healing process takes about 6 weeks , after which you can change the earrings

We have different earrings to choose from, with different prices. It starts at €24.95 per pair. A bottle of aftercare costs €14.95.
Do I need an appointment to have my ears pierced?
No, at Pracht you don't need an appointment. We pierce your ears every day of the week, when it's not too busy. Sometimes it can be too busy. If you want to be sure that we have time, call us on 030-2300617
How long should I keep the earrings in after piercing?
The healing process takes about 6 weeks. After this you can change the earrings.
Can I swim with freshly pierced earrings?
Yes, you can. After swimming, rinse your earrings with clean water and clean them with disinfectant.
Is it normal if my ears hurt after piercing?
Slight sensitivity/redness may occur. This is a normal reaction and will subside and disappear within 48 hours. If any unwanted pain/swelling/redness does occur, seek medical advice before attempting to remove the earring.
Can I get my ears pierced if I'm pregnant?
Pregnant women are more susceptible to infections. For this reason, we at Pracht do not pierce ears by pregnant women.
Can I also have multiple holes pierced?
Yes, that is possible, provided there is enough space in the earlobe!
Do you also pierce in the cartilage (Helix for example)?
No, we only pierce the earlobe up to the 3rd or 4th hole, depending on your earlobe. We will assess the possibilities on the spot.
